Personally identifying information is information about you that allows someone to personally identify you, like your name, address, email address, phone number, and preferences that you identify and that are not otherwise publicly available (for example, your clothing size and brand preferences). This policy does not apply to the practices of companies or websites that Motherhood Closet does not own or control, or to people that MCMC does not employ or manage. This policy does not apply to information that does not allow someone to personally identify you. Please read the following carefully. If you have any questions or concerns, please send us an email at firstname.lastname@example.org.
When Do We Collect Personal Information?
Types of Personal Information Collected
When you register with MCMC we ask for information such as your name, address, phone number, email address, due date, gender, zip code, occupation, industry, and personal preferences and interests relevant to MCMC products and services. Once you register with MCMC and sign in to our services, you are not anonymous to us. MCMC automatically receives and records information on our server logs from your browser, including your IP address, MCMC cookie information, and the page you request.
Use of Personal Information
MCMC uses the personal information we collect for the following general purposes: to customize the content you see, fulfill your requests for products and services, improve our services, contact you, bill you, collect fees from you, collect unpaid amounts due to us, conduct research, and provide anonymous, aggregated reporting for internal and external clients.
When you access the MCMC website, MCMC may set and access MCMC 'cookies' on your computer. Cookies are small files placed on your computer that recognize you when you return to MCMC and that allow us to customize your user experience and improve the MCMC service. In addition, the MCMC website includes advertising that is delivered to your computer by third parties, and the companies that show advertisements on some of our pages may set and access their own cookies on your computer. You may modify the cookies that are accepted by your computer by changing your browser settings, although this may change the way the MCMC website is presented to you. Other companies' use of their cookies is subject to their own privacy policies, not this one, and we have no obligation to inform you of third party cookies that are set.
Confidentiality and Security
We limit access to personal information about you to employees who we believe reasonably need that information to provide products or services to you or in order to operate and improve the MCMC website and services. We will use commercially reasonable efforts to put in place and maintain physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards that comply with applicable federal and state regulations to protect personal information about you.
Accessing, Changing and Protecting Your Information
You can access and edit your MCMC account information at any time. While you are a MCMC member, we will send you certain communications relating to the MCMC service, such as service announcements, administrative messages and a MCMC Newsletter. These communications are considered part of your MCMC account, and you can only opt-out of receiving them by deleting your MCMC account. You can delete your account by contacting MCMC or visiting your My Account page. If you believe that personal information that we have about you is incorrect, and you are unable to correct that information by editing your account yourself, you may notify us by email via the MCMC Customer Support page and we will use reasonable efforts to correct such information.
